Job Description
Cambodia University of Technology and Science (CamTech) is a newly established private not-for-profit university established in 2021 with the vision to be a leading university in the fields of technology and science to guarantee Cambodia’s future prosperity. Currently, we are urgently looking for key talents to fill the following vacancies.
- Lecturer in Digital Law and Cyber Ethics
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions on Digital Law and Cyber Ethics.
- Develop and update course content, syllabus, and assessment methods in line with current technological and legal developments.
- Evaluate and assess students’ performance through assignments, presentations, exams, and other academic activities.
- Encourage critical thinking and ethical decision-making related to digital technologies, privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and digital governance.
- Stay current with legal and regulatory changes affecting information technology and cyber practices globally and regionally.
- Participate in academic advising, curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university events.
Job Requirements
- A Master’s or PhD in Law, Information Technology Law, Cybersecurity, Digital Ethics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching at the university level (preferred).
- Knowledge of regional and international digital laws, cybercrime legislation, and ethical frameworks related to technology.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and platforms is an advantage.
