Smiling Gecko Cambodia (SGC) was officially registered in 2014 as a local non-profit NGO in Cambodia. It provides direct aid in the form of finance and other support to the needy in Cambodia, sponsoring projects that are sustainable both from an ecological and economic standpoint. We created a self-sufficient ecosystem for rural communities in Cambodia including Smiling Gecko Campus and Farmhouse Resort & Spa and The Gong. Farmhouse Resort & Spa is located in the countryside about 65 km north of Phnom Penh, surrounded by paddy fields and rolling hills. The Farmhouse Resort & Spa has 34 tastefully furnished rooms and suites spread over 17 bungalows in a classic Khmer style and more contemporary. The resort features multiple dining options from the main Farmhouse Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, over a very relaxing pool lounge bar to the dining extravaganza of “Restaurant Un” and the even more exclusive “Chef’s Table” situated at the founder’s private bungalow. The Sanctuary Spa with treatment rooms in 8 free-standing buildings, its pool, and the adjoining Sanctuary Café. The Spa menu is extensive and ranges from classic massages and couple massages to treatments with sauna or whirlpool use. In addition, the spa has a fully equipped gym as well as a small and two large yoga shalas.
- IT Officer (1 Position)
- IT administration, computer set up (MS 365) and repair/maintenance and networking
- Fix internet issue when getting loss of Wi fi and fix safety camera
- Manage, implement and support the day-to-day of an IT operational works
- Responsible for end-user’s computer issues and general IT technical supports
- Weekly report to the line managers but must be immediately report if any critical issues found
- Maintain and administrator of Email, Surveillance Camera Security, Server, Firewall, Computer Network Equipment (Switch, Router, Mikrotik)
- Maintain Computer hardware and software such as Servers, Printer, Fingerprint, Network Devices and Utilities including virus cleaning
- Coordinate and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware
- Responsible for network devices configuration within security methods
- All authentication/authorization information must be in a secret way
- Provide smoothly communication with IT team
- Adapt with workplace environment and quickly learn the new technologies
- Other technical tasks will be assigned by Supervisor
- At least graduated bachelor’s degree of IT or computer science.
- At least Two-year experience of IT administration and computer maintenance.
- Be able to check, diagnose and replace computer hardware.
- Excellent knowledge in computer systems, security, network systems administration, databases and data storage systems.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent management and strong ability to prioritize.
- Patient, Honest, flexible, responsive and helpful.
