Smiling Gecko Cambodia (SGC) was officially registered in 2014 as a local non-profit NGO in Cambodia. It provides direct aid in the form of finance and other support to the needy in Cambodia, sponsoring projects that are sustainable both from an ecological and economic standpoint. We created a self-sufficient ecosystem for rural communities in Cambodia including Smiling Gecko Campus and Farmhouse Resort & Spa and The Gong. Farmhouse Resort & Spa is located in the countryside about 65 km north of Phnom Penh, surrounded by paddy fields and rolling hills. The Farmhouse Resort & Spa has 34 tastefully furnished rooms and suites spread over 17 bungalows in a classic Khmer style and more contemporary. The resort features multiple dining options from the main Farmhouse Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, over a very relaxing pool lounge bar to the dining extravaganza of “Restaurant Un” and the even more exclusive “Chef’s Table” situated at the founder’s private bungalow. The Sanctuary Spa with treatment rooms in 8 free-standing buildings, its pool, and the adjoining Sanctuary Café. The Spa menu is extensive and ranges from classic massages and couple massages to treatments with sauna or whirlpool use. In addition, the spa has a fully equipped gym as well as a small and two large yoga shalas.
- Logistic Supervisor (1 Position)
- Manage Daily Logistics Activities: Supervise daily operations related to the shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods to all project sites.
- Transportation Management: Coordinate transportation schedules and routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Workflows and Processes: Develop, implement, and optimize logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate the organization, staffing, and operational activities for district warehouses and stores.
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
- Monitor storeroom and warehouse material usage
- Provide assistance in warehouse space utilization by designing facility layouts to achieve maximum storage efficiency
- Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies
- Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage
- Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems
- Select, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel
- Implement discipline and termination procedures
- Prepare and present staff reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensure stock is organized and stored properly, and initiate reorders when necessary.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of stock levels.
- Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Optimize delivery routes and scheduling to minimize transportation costs and delivery times.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and other vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure reliable service.
- Bachelor’s degree in bachelor’s degree Logistics, Supply Chain, Administration, related field.
- Minimum 2–3 of experience logistics using supply chain management software and tools, including S.A.P.
- In-depth knowledge of Procurement Policy and Financial Policy.
- Preferably, experience working NGOs/INGOs.
- Basic organizational time-management skills.
- Fluency written spoken English and Khmer.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point Presentation).
- Willingness to work across cultures and departments in an interactive team setting.
- Good interpersonal, organizational team building skills.
- Honest, proactive, hard- working, patient.
- Able to work under tight deadlines in a stress environment/under pressure.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office & Word, Google Map, Internet and Email.
