Job Description

  • Scholarship Coordinator
Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Coordinate and deliver capacity-building training for USS (Uni. Scholarship Student)
  • Prepare and lead weekly USS meetings to ensure effective communication and development.
  • Coordinate and oversee the Uni Leadership Academy and Bible Training programs.
  • Maintain attendance records for all USS activities
  • Student Work Coordination
  • Coordinate work experience opportunities and internships for USS participants.
  • Create and manage work schedules in collaboration with ICF leaders.
  • Track work history and support placement into new internship areas.
  • Monitor student performance to ensure growth in their professional and personal capabilities.
  • Visit students during their work tasks to observe, mentor, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Meet regularly with work leaders to gather feedback on students’ performance and attitude.
  • Student Engagement and Support
  • Celebrate students’ birthdays with staff announcements, gifts, and prayers
  • Organize and lead field trips and fun days twice a year to foster camaraderie and relaxation
  • Academic and Personal Development
  • Organize weekly mentoring meetings with an empowering leadership style to help students reach their full potential.
  • Focus on personal, academic, and spiritual development to prepare them for adulthood
  • Share personal experiences with Jesus and biblical insights to inspire growth
  • Actively foster students’ spiritual growth:
  • Share personal experiences with Jesus During
  • Review students’ church notes, providing guidance and answering questions during mentoring.
  • Act as a role model by participating in ICF Adult Church with your family, demonstrating a Christian lifestyle.
  • Program Development
  • Manage the enrollment process for new students, including applications, selections, and integration into the program
  • Serve as a proactive advisor to the Senior Education Coordinator, contributing ideas and recommendations for program improvements to enhance academic outcomes and character-building
  • Actively engage in developing the Education Sponsorship program by refining its structure, processes, and workflows.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with ICF key leaders to enhance program outcomes.
  • Financial Management
  • Oversee financial resources for students, ensuring proper disbursement
  • Manage monthly allowance payments, savings plans, and funding for extra classes.
  • Collaborate with the Education Area Leader to prepare the annual budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of expenses and submit detailed financial reports.
  • Organizational Leadership
  • Represent the ICF Cambodia organization as a key leader
  • Attend leadership meetings within the Social Department, Management Team, and other relevant teams.
  • Actively participate in the Leadership Academy, completing all assigned projects.
  • Contribute to the Social Leadership Team, supporting the implementation of new processes and offering feedback to enhance ICF social programs
Job Requirements
  • Working experience in leadership and social skills/community development/education
  • Good English speaking and writing (Intermediate level)
  • Knowledge about children's rights and development needs
  • Good computer skills, including e-mail, windows, word processing, and spreadsheet
  • General time management and organization skills
  • Soft skills: active listening, problem-solving, encouraging others, leading conversations, critical and connected thinking
  • Passion to empower families/youth and children in need and invest in other people.
