- Social Trainee
- Work closely together with Social worker to help children and families to initiate a positive transformation based on and supported by Christian Values
- Building a professional, yet trustful, relationship with children and their Caregivers.
- Influencing clients by addressing social issues to promote a positive change in their lives.
- Keeping case records through regular reporting in accordance to the Case Management Guidelines in ICF Social.
- Ensuring the needed communication exchange for the Sponsors (eg. letters, pictures, gifts, Sponsor visitations)
- Performing other duties as required by the leaders of ICF Family Care.
- Third or fourth year in University
- Interest in the knowledge of social work principles and practices.
- Knowledge about children’s’ rights and development needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with computer skills, including e-mail, windows, word processing, and spreadsheet
- General time management and organization skills
- Soft skills: active listening, encouraging others, patience, and the ability to build trust with clients.
- A genuine interest in social work and have passion to empower families/youth and children in need and invest in other people
