Job Description
We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
- Senior QC Technician
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Schedule and assign work to laboratory technicians.
- Conduct and oversee asphalt testing.
- Ensure that all testing is conducted in accordance with company standards.
- Interpret and record test results.
- Generate reports and presentations on test results.
- Train and supervise laboratory technicians.
- Work with customers to ensure that their needs are met
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an asphalt laboratory, including experience with asphalt testing and mix design is a plus
- Experience with asphalt mix is a plus
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) is a plus
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ability to generate reports and presentations.
- Willingness to travel
