It is exclusively involved in international development, active in more than 38 countries with 120 programmes with more than 1,000 staff members. Swisscontact has been present throughout South-East Asia for more than 30 years. Swisscontact has been operating in Cambodia since 2013, establishing its office in the country in April 2016.
To support us in the project activities we are looking for a motivated TVET Governance and Coordination Manager to be a part of our team.
- TVET Governance and Coordination Manager (1 Position)
- Promote a culture of collaboration and communication at national and sub-national levels among TVET stakeholders.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and learning of activities within the Intervention Area.
- Ensure regular monitoring and reporting in accordance with the SDP MRM System.
- Report on activity and financial progress, liaising with the Team Leader and Director of Business Administration.
- Inform the Team Leader of any perceived challenges or risks.
- Organize short-term expert missions as needed.
- Ensure the Intervention Area is well-prepared for all external and internal reviews and audits.
- Maintain the effective flow of information within the intervention area team and with the program management team, adhering to the SDP communication structure.
- Provide monthly status updates on the intervention’s progress, challenges, and achievements to the Team Leader.
- Actively participate in program management meetings, intervention-specific meetings, and cross-functional meetings to share information, discuss issues, and enable informed decision-making.
- Ensure the use of a central platform to store, organize, and share relevant documents, reports, and data related to IA1.
- Implement knowledge harvesting procedures for capturing and documenting knowledge from meetings, projects, and initiatives, creating reports, case studies, and lessons learned.
- Effectively use email for important decision making content, and other communication channels for normal content to keep the management and intervention team informed and engaged.
- Assist COMS and MRM in maintaining visual representations of the intervention’s progress, such as dashboards and infographics.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration among stakeholders, encouraging open communication and the sharing of best practices.

- At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Social Sciences, Education Science, Development Management, Engineering.
- At least five (5) years of experience working in the field of education or management.
- Experience related to the development of communication and promotional materials in digital and print format.
- Experience in contract management with private and public sector stakeholders.
- Experience with gender equality and social inclusion related activities (advocacy, visibility, event management, etc.).
- Prior experience in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and/or other forms of skills development is a strong asset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Khmer and English.
- Willingness to travel frequently to the field (to the twelve target provinces of SDP).
- Computer literacy, especially on Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. Mastering of other relevant programmes such as InDesign, Illustrator, etc. are an asset.
- Excellent team player and committed work attitude.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
