The Royal Government of Cambodia has received financing from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in the form of a loan toward the cost of National Restoration of Rural Productive Capacity Project (NRRPCP). The objective of the project is to sustain the rural economy and livelihood of vulnerable rural population and returning migrants affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- International Road Engineer
- A Master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of global experience in the implementation of rural road projects including substantial project management experience.
- Experience of implementing at least two rural road construction subprojects funded by development partners/multilateral development banks.
- Experience in conducing road construction supervision for at least two rural road projects.
- Experience in several regions and countries, including in Asia. Experience in Cambodia is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a national consultant team and achieve a strong working relationship with the relevant Executing Agency.
- Experience in conducting counterparty knowledge transfer and mentoring.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills in English.
- Comprehensive computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness and ability to travel to the remote subproject sites.
The consultants will be selected in accordance with the AIIB Procurement Policy and its associated Interim Operational Directive on Procurement Instructions for Recipients. AIIB’s Policy on Prohibited Practices will apply to all contracts.
