- Housekeeping Attendant
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Clean and maintain guest cabins, including beds, bathrooms, and furnishings, following standard operating procedures.
- Ensure public areas, hallways, and other ship facilities are spotless and presentable.
- Replenish supplies and amenities as needed, adhering to inventory controls.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly.
- Interact professionally and courteously with guests, addressing inquiries and requests with efficiency.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in hospitality or cruise ship operation.
- Fundamental English communication skills and requires speaking English during work hours.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a confined living environment.
- Ability to work long hours often standing and move around the ship.
- Ability to work well with other crewmembers.
- A willingness to learn, follow instructions, and contribute positively as part of a team.
- An outgoing and positive personality and healthy.
- Basic first aid and knowledge of safety procedures on board the ship.
