SBK Research and Development Co., Ltd. (SBK R&D), a professional consulting firm established in 2001 to provide professional consulting services on monitoring and evaluation, research studies, Initial Environmental Impact Assessment (IEIA) and full Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) studies, basic/conceptual engineering design, detail design and construction supervision, land use planning and community development. With its significant growth in its scope of work in the recent years, SBK R&D needs the following expert to support its current operation.
- Finance Officer (1 Position)
- Prepare internal rules and regulations for accounting department to ensure smooth implementation of financial management system of the Company;
- Produce monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial reports in overall, and by project;
- Supervise day-to-day work of all accounting staff to ensure timely and quality work;
- Carryout follow-up support on income, expense, account receivable and account payable to ensure proper cash flow management.
- Update Quick Book Pro to be well functioning and productive.
- Liaise with different departments to follow up on deliverables submitted to client on time and to ensure the submission of invoice is on time;
- Prepare Contract Variation for all kind of contracts under SBK R&D;
- Participate in meeting with client and key stakeholders regarding to the financial issues;
- Follow up on tax payment status of all contracts of SBK R&D and coordinate with the Tax Department following Taxation Law of the Kingdom of Cambodia;
- Provide constructive recommendation to the management to ensure proper usage of all income and expense of the Company;
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- Master or Bachelor Degree of accounting or financial management, CPA or other relevant discipline;
- Expertise on Microsoft Words, Excel, and Quick Book Pro;
- Good command of English languages in both writing and speaking;
- At least 3 to 5 years of experiences in financial management of project financed by the International Donors such as ADB, WB, UN Agencies or other International Donors;
- Have strong leadership and team work skills;
- Willingness to work under pressure to finish tasks under tight deadline, when needed.
