We are looking for a qualified Operation Officer to develop their career in organizational operation and with a concern to support individuals who have survived difficult circumstances. In this position you would play an important role in looking after our daily operation, include procurement, transportation management, payments, monitor supplies and other operational works for the organization. Ideally, you will bring a good understanding of administration skill and operational skill, an enthusiasm to learn and a friendly and positive attitude in dealing with a wide range of people and tasks.
Ratanak International is an NGO based in Canada. For over 30 years we have been partnering with Cambodians to support those working for freedom, hope and development. We work with and for those who have been exploited, aiming to prevent abuse, protect the vulnerable, and help trafficking survivors to return home, experiencing restoration.
- Operation Officer
- Execute procurement process and settle internal payments to suppliers follows our policies.
- Operate Ratanak Vehicle Allocation and Support Transportation process follow the booking requests.
- Track vehicle fuel expenses, mileage and cost allocation and prepare monthly payment to all suppliers with timeliness and efficiency.
- Review the OT used by the drivers to ensure accuracy and follow our guidelines.
- Control and monitor our office and household supplies for use in Ratanak, controlling stock and coordinating purchases ensure proper use and good stewardship.

- Assisting in asset registration, label and update asset list at least 2 times per year (in June and Dec) to ensure all assets are in the list and well controlled by following internal policies.
- Coordinate purchasing goods and services with suppliers, ensuring purchasing procedures comply with Ratanak policies, including organizing bidding on large procurements.
- Assist in preparing contracts and manage and handle the ongoing administration of operation expenses across the organization.
- Support in organizing logistic and activities for internal and external events.
- Support other operation and administrative work as requested by line manager.
- Attend team meetings and briefings as needed, including project budgeting, budget review and planning meetings.
- Engage in ongoing personal development to ensure best practice in administration, operational management, procurement, and organization of work.
Essential:
- Degree in administration, finance, accounting, or related field
- At least 2 years’ experience in admin, finance or operational role.
- Good oral written communication skill in English
- Good understanding of using computers and office equipment for main work tasks
- Good understanding of using Microsoft Offices 365
- Good communication and inter-personal skill
Desirable:
- Used to work in operational facilities environment (Hospital, Hotel, Mall, School, etc.)
- Experience in major procurement and contract preparation
- At least 2 years of active membership in a church community.
