Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) is a governmental organization affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Republic of Korea. KOFIH provides government-level health assistance for partner countries, and operates Dr LEE Jong-wook Fellowship Program, which is KOFIH’s global invitational training program for strengthening the capacity of health workforce. KOFIH has been cooperating with the Ministry of Health of Cambodia to improve the healthcare services since 2011 in maternal and child health and more recently in non-communicable disease management. In Cambodia, KOFIH has its Country Office in Phnom Penh City and a Branch Office in Battambang Province. For more information about KOFIH, please visit Link.
Mission of KOFIH in Cambodia
Within the framework of Agreement between the Ministry of Health (MoH) of Cambodia and KOFIH, we support Cambodia in:
Improving Quality of Healthcare Service and Strengthening Non-Communicable Disease Management (IQNCD)Strengthening Communicable Disease Control of Border Region in Northwest Cambodia (SCDC)Improving Quality of Care for Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care in the Northwest RegionCapacity building of Human Resources in health sectorOther areas of healthcare agreed by both KOFIH and the MoH
- Project Coordinator
Work scope:
- Arrange meeting and preparing activities of Dr. Lee Jong-Wook fellowship
- Perform monitoring and submit reports of KGA activities.
- Carry out administrative and secretarial duties such as speech writing, preparing document, receiving visitors from local & international healthcare partners etc.
- Enhance public relations through social media, newsletter, promotion videos for KOFIH activities
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the office.
- Cambodian National, residency in Battambang Province is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory and degree in medicine or any related field in health sector is preferred.
- At least 2 years of work experience in public or private health service (i.e., nurse, midwife, health center staff, etc.), Work experience with NGO or international organization is preferred.
- Excellent communication and writing skill in English and Khmer, and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Solid knowledge of project management.
- Strong budget development, tracking and reporting skills using computerized programs.
- Strong report writing and data collection skills, as well as interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office, Image & Video editing software.
