About Johanniter
Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. (Link) is a German Christian non-governmental organi-sation, dedicated to excellence in the field of first aid, ambulance service, social service programmes and other projects in the medical and social field. The Federal Headquarters are based in Berlin, Ger-many. We opened the mission in Cambodia and registered in 2011. Johanniter International Assis-tance is the operational unit for humanitarian aid, development co-operation and emergency relief, implementing and sup-porting projects in Health, Nutrition, WASH as well as Food Security & Income Generation worldwide.
Background
Johanniter International Assistance is committed to improve organisational capacity of the partners and contribute to build sustianable Civil Socity in Southest Asia. In Cambodia, Johanniter has been implementing a project with two partner organizations, namely Bandos Komar Association (BK) and Child Rights Foundation (CRF). With financial support from German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), these two partners (BK and CRF) are undertaking a project named “CLIMATE - Strengthening resilience and adaptive capacity of children and communities for a safe and livable future”, from 2022-2025.

DELIVERABLES
The consultant shall include all the services necessary to achieve the stated objective of this assignment, and in so doing, shall expeditiously execute the following:
- Carry out training needs assessments and, based on the assessments, develop comprehensive training modules in project design and proposal writing respectively.
- Lead in the delivery of a 2-3 days training on project design and proposal writing using the modules.
- Develop training materials and resources
- Deliver the session in an interactive, engaging way, including discussions, games, and activities.
- Final training completion report including feedback from participants.
- Johanniter will be responsible for:
- Providing the venue, snacks, and lunch (possibly outside of Phnom Penh)
- Meeting and providing timely feedback as requested by the consultant as needed to provide clarification on the implementation of consultancy
- Providing constructive feedback on drafts of reports and processes throughout.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE OF TRAINER
- At least 6 years’ relevant experience in Resource Mobilisation, Project Design, and effective Proposal Writing, Fundraising, Financial Management and practices preferably with African organisations.
- Strong understanding of donor contex and funding trend especially for Southeast Asia.
- Previous experience facilitating good quality, impactful training in project design and proposal writing for organisations.
- Strong track record in the successful design and delivery of multi-stakeholder
- project design and proposal writing training.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Previous experience conducting trainings in similar contexts is preferred.
