Job Description

Hagar is a Christian international NGO founded in Cambodia in 1994. In 2009, Hagar expanded its model to Afghanistan and Vietnam, our focus is on working with women and children who are suffering from the impact of trauma resulting from slavery, trafficking, and abuse. We seek to magnify the impact of this work with individuals and families through our advocacy and capacity building work with other service providers and institutions.

Our Mission: We walk the whole journey of restoration with each survivor, empower communities to prevent exploitation and strengthen systems to protect those vulnerable to human trafficking, slavery and abuse.

Hagar International Foundation is now looking for 01 passionate and qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:

  • Case Manager (1 Position)
Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Comply to standards and model of the best practice of case management.
  • Maintain the case records of the clients and document in clients’ files in a timely manner and to ensure that case files are up-to date.
  • Communication and development.
  • Meet regularly with Case Management Team/PC for supervision.
  • Work with clients in creating business plans to apply for microfinance loans or grants and work with them on financial management.
  • Coordinate Foster Care Family to support on emotion, solving problem, encouraging them to be positive parenting.
  • Providing Training as needs.
  • Perform other tasks as required by line Manager.
Job Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in Psychology/Social Science/Social Work.

Experience:

  • At least 3-year experiences, preferably for an NGOs, in Social Work/ case management
  • Previous experience managing and leading teams.
  • Experience in training and workshop facilitation is preferred

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven ability in use of social work skills
  • Understanding of the needs of traumatized clients
  • Excellent relational skills, especially in a cross-cultural environment,
  • Excellent Case management and record keeping skills.
  • Understanding of Trauma Informed /Therapeutic Case Management
  • High levels of attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to keep professional boundaries and address all personal issues.
  • Ability to liaise professionally with other NGO’s and relevant Government Department.
