Foundation for International Development/Relief (FIDR), a Japanese non-governmental humanitarian organization working for the social development of Cambodia since 1993, announces a vacant position working for the Pediatric Surgery Project (PSP) based in Kratie province. Only Cambodian nationals may apply for this position.
- Project Facilitator (1 Position)
- Project Activity
- Manage and arrange project activities at the community level in order to promote surgical referral cases from HCs and VHSGs to KPRH in balance with the budget plan;
- Update clinical data for the project activity regularly;
- Support PSP advisor and advisors’ activities and propose to them necessary discussions;
- Enhance own network and partnership with stakeholders such as NPH, KPRH, PHD, ODs, RHs, HCs/VHSGs and other organizations as well as patients;
- Find a solution for various issues in cooperation with team members and counterparts;
- Be a catalyst and disseminate the purpose of the project to the partners and other stakeholders;
- Administration
- Produce project documents, such as a presentation slide, proposal, report and minute of meeting in a timely manner;
- Translate documents from English into Khmer and vice versa, and provide assistance to international staff as interpreter in English;
- Publish contents on social media and website of FIDR, shoot photos and videos to keep archives of project activities, and select remarkable photos;
- Draft necessary official letters so that Project Administration could check and issue them;
- In addition to the duties above, the employee shall perform other duties required by the supervisor.
- Kratie residents are prioritized.
- Bachelor degree holder or equivalent on health or other majors related to social development.
- At least 2-year full-time work experience in organizations or companies excluding internship.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent command of written and oral English enough to communicate with expatriates.
- Computer literacy with competence in Word, Excel, Power Point, Zoom, and E-mail, etc.
- Creative and flexible thinking, and proactive attitude to experience new challenges.
- High commitment to work as NGO staff.
