EMDR Association Cambodia is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving mental health in Cambodia. We focus on providing psychotherapy, mainly using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), to help individuals heal from trauma. Our work involves collaborating with local communities, healthcare providers, and government agencies to strengthen mental health services nationwide through enhancing psychological services, training and workshops, and evidence-based studies in the mental health and trauma field.
- Technical Field Officer (2 Positions)
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
- At least 4 years of experience in mental health-related projects.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a technical field role, preferably within the relevant sector.
- Proven experience working in field-based project implementation and technical support.
- Understanding of Cambodia's health systems.
- Strong knowledge in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).
- Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring healthcare workers.
- Good collaboration with government counterparts, including DMHSA, Provincial Departments of Health (PDHs), Operational Districts (ODs), Health Centers (HCs), Referral Hospitals (RHs), and local authorities.
Skills and Competencies:
- Responsible for overseeing and implementing project activities, ensuring tasks meet technical specifications.
- Provide technical support to local partners, monitor progress, collect and report accurate field data, and engage with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Skilled in capacity-building, organizing training, managing resources, and coordinating logistics.
- Fluent in English and Khmer, with a collaborative approach and experience in EMDR therapy and psychotherapy.
- Committed to continuous learning and enhancing technical capabilities.
