Job Description
We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
- Finance and Accounting Manager
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise accounting staffs and ensure accurate financial statement and reports are produced in a timely manner and when necessary
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal reporting guidelines.
- Provide financial reports to senior management and stakeholders to support business decision-making
- Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing input on cost-saving opportunities.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure budgets align with the company's financial goals.
- Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis to guide management in planning and decision-making.
- Monitor actual results versus budgeted performance, reporting on significant deviations.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
- Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing required documentation and facilitating audit processes.
- Implement audit recommendations and improvements to financial systems and procedures as necessary.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team to ensure high levels of performance and professionalism.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and competencies of accounting staff.
- Ensure the team is aware of updates to accounting practices, regulations, and software systems.
- Conduct performance evaluations and set goals for the accounting department.
- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to assist management in decision-making.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to manage loans, credit facilities, and investments
Job Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting and at supervisory level
- Experience in using QuickBook
- Good level of English (spoken and written language will be English)
- Strong analytical and synthetic skills
- Rigorous, well organized, autonomous and proactive
- Ability to work as a team member in a multicultural environment
- Eager to learn, to adapt to new situations and take up challenges
- Willingness to work with IT professionals and with students
- Good skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint…
