Established since 1948, ChildFund Korea has been working in South Korea to protect children's rights and help children suffering from poverty and disease, and started global programs to create a World where children are happy since 1997. ChildFund Korea has become a member of ChildFund Alliance since 2002. ChildFund Alliance is a network of 11 child-focused development and humanitarian organizations working in 70 countries around the world.
ChildFund Korea focuses on advocacy activities to protect the rights of all children, strengthen welfare programs based on children’s rights under the UN Convention on the Rights of Children, actively respond to social issues, humanitarian aids, and other critical issues for children such as Education, Public Health, WASH, Climate Change, and strive to ensure children’s rights.
ChildFund Korea’s Country Office in Cambodia has been registered in foreign non-governmental organization under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC) in July 2024, and will make a partnership agreement with KOICA in consortium with Wonders International in January 2025, in order to implement the project which is named ‘DYNAMIC (Developing Youth and Nurturing Agri-preneurship for Market Impact and Community Growth)’ for the purpose of alleviating rural poverty rate in Cambodia by promoting youth entrepreneurship in the agricultural.
We are seeking to employe a qualified candidate of following positions:
- Capacity Building Officer (1 Position)
- Planning and Management of On/Offline Entrepreneurship Education (30%):
- Coordinate the Dynamic Leadership Course supportively with project key implementers.
- Ensuring the Online and Off-line's completions with full of facilitation and support.
- Conduct the perception survey to measure the effectiveness of entrepreneurship training.
- Stakeholders Management (30%):
- Enhance the organizational capacity building of the National Incubation Center of Cambodia (NICC) aligned to their mission to become self-sustaining.
- Ensure that equipment of NICC media lab are fully utilized and managed for the project in collaboration with Project Officer for Public Relation.
- Project Quality Management (40%):
- Assist in the stages of baseline, midterm evaluation, endline evaluation and project monitoring.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders in facilitating NICC and other stakeholders, and tracking the project progress in accordance with plans and timeframe of the project.
- Ensure the project documents complied with the regulations and guidelines of KOICA.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, development studies, organizational management and capacity building.
- A bachelor degree in a related field, with demonstrated experience or coursework of organizational management, governance, strengthening institution, enterprise development.
- Knowledge of Business Fundamentals, Entrepreneurial Skills, Agricultural Industry-Specific Knowledge and techniques can be applied in the context of development programs, particularly in areas like enhancing the organizational capacity/operation building.
- Knowledge of entrepreneurship ecosystem and connection local and international partnership.
- Knowledge of the Cambodian startup ecosystem, supporting mechanism for startup, SMEs, in agriculture sector.
- Good understanding of business planning, financial management, and fundraising principles.
- At least 3-year experience in operational and strategy management in training institute or capacity building organization.
- Experience in professional experience in project management, capacity building, or business development
- Proven experience in working with incubators, accelerators, or other entrepreneurial support organizations
- Experience in monitoring, coaching and mentoring organizational management and facilitating networking engagement.
- Experience in conducting need assessment and curriculum development and implementing training programs.
- Qualifications and Competencies:
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholder including public and business sector, and youths.
- Proficiency in spoken and (Upper-intermediate) written English and Khmer
- Leadership and management skill
- Ability to produce high-quality written reports.
- Institutional, partners’ coordination.
- Teamwork and collaboration with positive attitude
- Experience in organizing and executing public events, such as press conferences, public lecture events, or community outreach activities.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analytical and critical thinking, Good Communication skill, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
