Salvation Centre Cambodia (www.scc.org.kh), established in 1994, works toward breaking the cycle of poverty of the poorest Cambodians by strengthening their own sense of self-reliance.  Along with its USA partner NGO, The Face-to-Face Project (www.facetoface.org), SCC operates a community center in Siem Reap where adults gain sustainable, organic farming skills and children and young adults develop proficient speaking and listening English abilities, learn traditional music and dance, and acquire public speaking skills.
